Fibre Material

Up to 15% of a whole tyre consists of fibre and nylon to improve tyre performance and quality. As part of our commitment to stop whole tyres from being land filled, RTI can extract this manmade fibre for our clients to process into a variety of uses, e.g. erosion matting, insulation, carpet underlay and road paving.

RTI’s tyre-derived fibre is:

  • toxic free
  • very durable
  • able to matt together for strength
  • non absorbent
